Automated Strategy w/ NinjaTrader

I am currently putting together a daytrading strategy and plan to use NinjaTrader to fully automate the system (a hands-off approach). My main concern is if NinjaTrader is stable enough to handle an automated system. Any known issues/bugs? Anyone currently using NinjaTrader in auto mode?

There's not many NinjaTrader users on T2W. You might be able to find the answer on Big Mikes easier as the majority of people on there trade with NinjaTrader. Here's the link: NinjaTrader - Big Mike's Trading Forum

Intraday or position? Very interesting work.

We've found it to be pretty robust.

As per usual the common weak links are client and broker side. Either the client doesn't have a robust enough system to both process and route reliably and broker APIs are often not brilliant.

The strategy you use can be relevant as well as an event driven one can end up competing for API bandwidth as everyone else clamours to change exposure at the same time.

If a domestic user and performance is critical then running your side on a virtual server becomes prudent.
