[question] Trade Platform and Free Tick Data

Looking for free Trade platform with free intraday tick data (Forex).

Want to build and test one renko stradegy.

Currently have tried Sierra Chart, MT4 and they do not meet my expatations. MT4 is very simple to use but bulding renko charts will makes MT4 slow and I mean very slow.

Sierra Chart has no free intraday tick data feed and tradestation itself is very complex starting from installing it and whatever..

Currantly about to make Ninjatrader work for my testing but missing free data feed provider. Seems to be fair choise at this point but still no idea about free tick data feed for Forex market.


Please, give ideas if you have some to share.

here you can get free test data (FOREX) for Metatrader, Ninjatrader, Metastock and in generic ASCII:

I am looking for live Forex tick data for forward testing.

PS. Update to my first [question] post is that MB Trading Navigator might be my way forward, getting free live data feed for Ninjatrader. I will send more update after properly testing it on NT.

hi! you can use Protrader demo, because Renko charts are present in this software.

Hei! Thank You for sharing. Protrader does the renko as I need (not based on tick data but it WORKS). This is what I needed for testing.
