Investment software

Hi I'm new to trading but have a strong interest in financial markets and know trading is the best way to turn this passion of mine into profit. I've had a good read of the Newbie threads here but still can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

Could anyone here recommend some good free investment software, trading platforms and other software that would help me get started.

Free will help you get started but it won't help you go any far IMO.

Have you ever asked yourself why people give away stuff in the market for free? They cannot be working for free? They must be makign something. Of course, at your expense.

Ascetrend is good i think?
