TS2000i System Report dollar scaling...?

Hello,

I am a fairly new user of TS 2000i, using it to develop and implement strategies and procedures for FX trading. No huge problem there. However the problem I am having is getting the System Report to provide the correct scaling in dollar terms!! It shows the correct digits, but is several factors of ten in error. For example, a 40pip gain or loss will be reported as 4 cents! That is, shown on the System Report as $0.04. It ought to be shown as either $40 or $400 depending on the type of FX trading account.

Changing the Price Value, Point Value and/or Min Movement settings for any one currency pair appears to have no effect. Much reading of the Help files and so on has produced no result. If anyone can shed some light on this, what is no doubt a very basic issue, or direct me to another info source I'd be forever grateful.

Cheers,

What are the settings you are using for this symbol in Global Server for point value and price scale? This is likely to be the problem. As an example, for Euro FX futures I have a price scale of 1/10000 and a point value of 125000.0, which gives a movement of 12.50 Euros for each pip.

When you make the changes in Global Server, you need to re-create the chart and re-run the strategy report.

Hope this helps.

Hi Bunyip - you solved the problem!! I was NOT re-creating the chart, so not seeing any change in the System Report. Thanks again - have a great day!!
