Help!

Hi everyone I have the price action indicator below which doesn't seem to work properly, I have no coding knowledge so I don't know how to fix it.

The problem: The indicator doesn't refresh live I need to reattach it if I want to view it?

I would be massively grateful if someone could take a look at it and sort it for me.

It doesn't refresh on the strategy tester either, which I figured. A very quick glance at the code looks like an issue with the variable "startup". The problem with these things is programmers don't code to make debugging easy, ie: no comments on what is happening. I'll have a look when I get some time later on.

I looked at it JD. If it doesn't work, it's doing you a favour.

If it was an attempt to highlight pin bars - it's shi!te.

it highlights pin bars, inside bars, outside bars and a few others and an alert box pops up. Could be useful if you trade using those pattern types and are away from the computer.

Anyway, whoever programmed it never tested it properly. I got it to work without the pop up alert box so far.
