Order Cancels Order (OCO) in Metatrader

Hi,

Is it possible to execute Order Cancels Order orders in Metatrader? Or is there a way to effectively do this? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't believe you can do it on the platform. You can use an expert advisor. You can place both orders and the EA will cancel one if the other fills.

Thanks for your reply wackypete2. I have found an EA that does this, I am interested in an EA that where for example, I have a buy limit above the current price and a sell limit below the currrent. Say the buy limit gets hit, I don't want the sell limit to get cancelled now, but if the price then declines after I have gone long and the sell limit is still in place to use as a stop. Then if the price hits this, then the order cancels. Have you come across an EA/indicator like this? Of course it can be done manually but an EA would be very handy!

ok, you need something to cancel the sell limit if the long is filled, then modify the long to have a stop loss that is the same as the cancelled order?

You should be able to modify an existing ea to do this.
