Updata

Me too ;0)
I was surprised to see how little mention Updata got here .........

Updata RT is quite good - you can get a 30-day free trial.
But then it costs around £800 per year if you go for it. ( as far as I know )
I dont use many of the features, so it is OK for me.
I dont trade intra-day much, so EOD is sufficient for me.

If you email them and ask for more functionality, they tend to say that its "too difficult", etc, which is a pain.
for example, I asked why the Fibonacci lines didnt show 127% ratio -their reply was they didnt believe such a ratio existed !! ( I sent them 3 links to different websites all showing 127% )

Also, the data is for trading days - I asked whether it was possible to show calendar days, ie, how many calendar days have elapsed between 2 points, and they replied it was impossible !! ( Gann and Fibs use calendar days to calculate turning points ).
I wonder if they have heard of Excel !!

But, that aside, it is good value for money.

Trendie, you can download Updata data into excel in the form: Date Close Open High Low Volume
and then interpolate the missing dates in, which would get you to the point you need.
All from the Price Editor choice.

I specifically asked if the data could be downloaded into another package such as excel, and the reply was a categoric NO.

Anyway, I want to see the number of calendar days on the chart, as it plays a part in the overall analysis.
It gets messy if you have to cross-check against different charts from different packages.

It’s very easy to export data from Updata.

From the message centre (i.e. the icon on the system tray), select database maintenance/export data history/…and you’ll be able to export anything and everything to a file or files in CSV format, i.e. you’ll be able to do this for either individual instruments, classes of instruments (Forex) or for an entire exchange.

The choice is yours.

Gardan, I don't really know what your needs are but for £30ish per month you get quite a lot more functionality than most occasional traders have use for.
You'd have to tell us more about your trading style.

It takes a fair old time to learn all the wrinkles of the system.
I'm probably not an ideal customer of theirs since I don't trade enough and don't use their signals.
