Guys,

With my EA's all setup and ready to roll I face a bit of a dilema,

I want to run multiple instances of MT4 on one PC, with different versions utlitising internet through different network cards.

Is there some kind of software (not an emulator / virtual box) that allows you to run more than one instance of an app.

Have you tried installing another instance of MT4 into a different directory from your C:\Program Files\xxxx directory (where xxxx is your broker's id) ? If that works you could simply add a static IP route to force the other instance to use the second network card.

Using a virtual box is probably a much simpler solution. I find the Orcacle VM virtualbox to be reasonably stable.

I haven't tried moving the program but it makes sense, I like the idea of routing the IP's aswell.

The only thing with virtual boxes is aren't they emulations, meaning they will have a higher latency?

Very tiny I would expect. My ping time from a Windows VM to the loopback interface on the Linux host shows as <1ms. I would imagine Windows on Windows would be similar.

Code in the VM does run a fair bit slower than if run directly on the host, so if your EAs or indicators are CPU intensive this would be a disadvantage.

The IP route idea (without virtualbox), of course, won't help if you want several EAs connecting to the same broker.
