Anyone knows if versions of metatrader for the main betting exchange sites exist?

Betfair and Betdaq API interfaces should allow something like this. Has it already been programmed?

Dont know of any and i have experience of metatrader software and applications.

I'm a computer scientist, but I haven't started programming with metatrader, yet.

Is the scripting programmable in order to connect to betfair api (or to a local C++/Java/C# program that works as a bridge)?

MQL supports DLL's so most things are possible. IIRC there was a semi-commercial app developed for the betfair API (the developer was asking a few euro just to filter out the scum, I think there might possibly be a thread on this on there forums although I suspect it died a death through lack of interest)

Very good! As I soon as I have spare time I'll start programming the DLL.

It should be very stupid, I think. Metatrader just has to plot betting odds instead of currency rates.
Also "buy" and "sell" can be handled by a DLL call, if I decide to buy the commercial version of Betfair API.

There is something going around but for the life of me I can't remember it! It has something to do with geek-toy and something else. I'll try and think of it.

I know it isn't geekstoy but it uses geekstoy in addition to it. I havent remembered it yet but will keep trying.

I think BetAngel may be what you are thinking of. Actually I can't read minds so it may not be but thought I'd throw it in the mix anyway, incase of any use.
