My progress
I have been trading full time for 6 months now, mostly losing money but learning a lot and things are turning around.
I find the most challenging part of Day Trading is the psychological part. By that I mean the following through with what I promised myself I will do, or dealing with a loss and learning from it, and so on .....
After Reading the book from Elder - Come into my trading room-, I started to write a personal journal with every trade I made, with the purpose to learn from my mistakes, and the strategy is working. I have adopted some of his suggestions such as only selecting a group of stocks to trade, day in and day out, to get to know them well.
I am on my way to becoming a profitable trader and basically look for a 2% profit, and let the winners run cutting the losers fast.
Since I started trading I have gone through many ups and downs, have doubted myself and what I was doing, even though I love trading and I know this is what I am meant to be doing. Sometimes I felt I was in a mirror room where no matter what I did, it did not work, I'm sure some of you have felt that way too sometimes. Trading is not easy but sure is fascinating, and is a wonderful way to earn a living.
I will post my progress as a trader every now and then, I feel this excercise can be quite helpful to myself and maybe someone will benefit from what I write.
