I double down into AIG today. I thought "hey, it's only money". This global rout seems to have caused it to drop $5/share. I managed to lower my average price by $2.40/share.

I am glad that I did not sell at the bottom. I have to follow my own advice. Only a fool sells in a down market.

I bought COP:XNYS, OGE:XNYS and AAPL:XNAS a few days ago. They are all below my average price.

I could have held onto it longer. I was expecting at least 1.5% return within the average hold time, but the market has been acting crazy so I decided to close the position after the market rebounded from this morning.

The discretionary stop loss was for 2016-02-03 only. It changed on 2016-02-04, which is why it was never met.
