I'm currently working in a pseudo front office/IT algo trading position at an investment bank. The group that I'm in do not seem keen to go forward with algo trading as they're making so much money off of traditional client flow. I find this line of work interesting, so I'm keen to find somewhere to carry on doing it.
Approaching recruitment agents for this kind of thing has seemed fruitless - they keep sending me Risk IT roles, which whilst lucrative aren't really my thing.
Does anyone have suggestions as to how I could find somewhere to place myself, possibly as an unsalaried/% of P/L rather than an employee.
