looking for a good trading arcade in london and what are desk and platform costs?

Hi,

I have been trading for 20 years. I started off on LIFFE and traded BTP's, Gilts and Eurodollars and spent 4 years in the Eurodollar pit in CME. I went screen based in 2000 and traded from home in Hamstead, London since then.

While i am quite happy trading from home I want to have a change and get back into an enviroment where i can mix with other traders.

Before i do this I thought i would post here and see if any of you guys have an opinion as to where the best trading rooms are in London to work from and what are the costs associated for standard desk fees and platform costs (TT Pro or RTS).

Any info will be appreciated.

If your in Hampstead you could try mettraders. They say they're in West Hamapstead but it's really Kilburn

Also have a gander at this Trading Arcade Index - Traderpedia. One or two of the firms on it have gone under but probably the most up to date list on the net I think.

Make sure you see a few, many load fixed costs, others if you are on a split will make sure you pay 100 of your costs from your split where as others take the costs out first and split the remaining P&L meaning the house takes it proportion of the costs in line with your commercial split.
Do you want a small bespoke trading room with a few good experienced traders or a bigger warehouse style trading room. There are a few to choose from in central London and a few regional trading rooms.
