We have recently set up a trading operation in Mayfair, there are now 4 of us sharing an office. The only fees we pay are rental, each of us trade our own funds and there is no clearing aspect here, so not an "arcade" in its truest sense.

We've had interest from 2-4 other people who would like to join. There is potential for us to move to a larger office, with the objective to get to 8 people max.

Anyone else who is interested, let me know.

Please note that we operate as a not-for-profit style co-operative, and are not selling any services/software etc.

Where abouts will you move to? Still in Mayfair? What will be the monthly costs and what do the person get?
 
There's a larger office space within the same building. At the moment we are each paying around £350 a month, which covers the desk rental and broadband. We provide our own PCs/laptops.

For this location, it's a very competitive rental. However, please note that it is not a traditional arcade, i.e. we do not provide a low latency connection to an exchange/TT/clearing any of these things. You trade online or call your broker.

The idea was to create a low cost dealing room environment for self-backed traders, who fancy getting out of the house and being in a more professional environment.
 
I would be interested in joining, im currently trading FX using my my own online broker and am looking to leave my job and move into to it full time, but hate the fact of having to sit at home. Is there still space available and would the offer be open for another few months?
 
This is purely a not-for-profit endeavour, so we only take space if we definitely have people signed up. We've had several replies from people who think it's interesting and would like to take a look, but we're not going to take out larger office space unless we have additional people on board (i.e. they've already pre-paid their rent, as we do), otherwise chances are we'll end up paying for space we don't need. We've had several responses, a couple of likely joiners. At this stage there are still just the 4 of us, but a rather nice 6 desk office has come available, with views onto a square. The rental figures are similar to those which I posted before. If anyone has interest, let me know.
 
There are now several offices available in our building as a large tenant has just moved out. We're still looking for additional joiners - our prospectives have recently dropped out. The terms are the same as before (see above).

Hi, £90/head/week all in, this includes office rental, broadband and VAT. There are larger offices available, we need at least two people to consider making it worthwhile to shift.
 
Thanks for the quick response. Is there a minimum term to commit to and what would the notice period be if someone wanted to leave? Thank you.
 
The minimum is three months with rent pre-paid. For example, if you paid 3mths rent up front and started 1st June, you could stay until 31st August and then leave.. there is no notice period like there is at an arcade, where unless you give them a month's notice they keep deducting your account.

We collectively pay our rent directly to the landlord. If anyone wants to stay longer, they can pre-pay more rent (this is what we do), but if not, then no problem, you can just leave.

For those who might be interested, we have now moved into a 7 desk office overlooking Hanover Square. The prices are as stated before. We have room for 2 more people at the moment.
 
Office is all full up now, HOWEVER we do occasionally have people leave, so please PM me if any interest.
