Calling all arcade traders....advise wanted

Hi all,

I am starting a new role at a prop shop on a week or so. I am new to trading (aside from spread betting) and just wanted to ask for some advice.

Basically what would you have wanted to know when you started that you know now?

Any advice/guidance would be much appreciated.

if you are new to trading then you have been given a wonderful opportunity. I take it you are joining a course - I wonder if its the same one for both of you - who is it with?
In the meantime, if you want to impress and get the most out of the opportunity, be like a sponge and be first in and last out every day

how did you make it at the arcades you started at are you still there what did they teach ou guys?

Cheers Bullcar, am thinking 'sponge!' Have some previous familiarity and can't wait to get started on this! 6 month course, final 3 of which are on a simulator. Split is 50/50. Nominal pay through the training.

Haven't started yet Spin so not entirely sure, but gather it goes through macroeconomics, fundamental and technical analysis.
