Doing a bit of research into trading INSIDE BARS (using them as a trigger to get into a trade) and I have not come across a lot on the interwebnet to get my teeth into.

Has any other members got anything stored on their Hard Drives or know of any useful links that may assist me in my quest/thirst for knowledge on this subject ?

Thanks Trendie, I'll have a goosey in a mo.

My aim is to put it together with a bit of divergence and so cobble together another winning strat....
 
Nick, it's the devil's work - completely meaningless - all of it. Just switch TFs and get a different perspective on your IB.

Seriously, it just means there was less price exploration/discovery during that timeslice. You can try and read relative volume context into it, but when all is said and done...

All too true, tony

But the Devil makes work for idle hands and the market sure doesn't like being idle. Like my small grandson, it gets itchy feet if stationary for too long and makes a dash for a change of scene. 'Course, knowing whether the little perisher is going to make a run for the attic or the cellar is the tricky bit :cheesy:

Listen Metaphor Mickey, there are as many dashes for the attic/cellar after an IB IN ANY TF, as there are gently teasing just up/down the next step or even along the same hallway for as long as it takes for Gramps to catch up.

I use inside bars with good success. I've mentioned them before on my thread. You can find out more about them there or on the J16 thread.
 
Thanks for your input so far guys.

Have been trading the footy this morning using IB's and MAC hidden divergence (so trading with the trend) going well so far.........

Let's hear from some of the 'lurkers' for a change.
