That's an index. It can only be traded through spreadbets and cfd's on 'daily's', so there can be no volume data. To see volume you will have to track a futures derivative.

I've had a scout around but found nothing freely available, historical or otherwise.

Maybe this will help, but I'm cautious on Esignal's last day of volume , sometimes it changes in the next day ( then becomes reliable ) .

most index of equity cash products like dow, ftse etc still have volume. it can also be done via futures or maybe an etf. without volume, id say thats a buy, but knowing whats happened recently in us & bonds, id be careful
