Other Trading forum

Well if there is do you think it would be openly advertised on T2W ? It would be like Microsoft advertising the Mac operating system on their own website.

charcoalstick,
Moneyam do a traders room which is a few pounds per month, but the quality is generally good and you don't get some of the moronic imput and infantile playground behaviour you get on certain other boards............
However, for beginners and intermediate traders, t2w really is best and I honestly don't think it's worth looking at other boards.
The problem for beginners is always who to take notice of........

totally agree. T2W content to troll ratio is the best around for a free forum. I keep an eye on ET from time to time, but all the other sites are only worth looking at once every two or three months. T2W really is the best trader community on the net

Perhaps the key to getting the most out of ET is to determine what few among the many really know what they're talking about, then subscribe to their posts. Saves an enormous amount of time and avoids all the nonsense which centers around calls and vendorism.

Beside this forum and elitetrader, is there any other good trading forum around?

Hi,

www.traderji.com - India's best trading forum. It deals only with indian market. But TA is the area which doesn't depend upon any markets. So the markets doesn't matter for learning purpose.
I'm a member of that forum. One can find high quality threads there.

After all learning is the motto. Thats the reason I've joined in this forum, so that I can learn how others outside India are learning, approaching TA, learn from them, etc.

I don't think this post will degrade any ones value.

Regards,
Praveen.

The format looks like a cut and paste job of t2w, arn't there any web masters out there who have any original ideas? and to cap it all links like this are normally regarded as spam ;)

Hello Samtron,

I don't know much about how traderji, t2w,etc are maintained. But I think t2w, traderji, etc. all get the forum format through some vendor. May be the vendor in our case might be same as that of t2w. I repeat I don't know about these vendors, etc., so I'm not able to give exact explanation.

Meanwhile I wonder how a reply to the question posted by a member, becomes spam. If at all if you think its a spam, I'm sorry for helping others.

Praveen.

A fellow poster on the "Aussie Stock Forums" (ASF) site posted a link to "Trade2Win" and mentioned it was a really good site for European and US trading discussions, hence I joined today.

I do hope that I’m not contravening any regulation by mentioning the ASF site just like bvpraveen did about the “traderji” site in India, and hope people see this as expanding the international communications lines for those who are interested:

http://www.aussiestockforums.com/

ASF is an Australian based site, hence anyone wishing to trade Australian equities or indexes may find some of the discussions useful, but it also has an extensive coverage on Derivatives, Commodities, International Markets, Forex, and trading systems and strategies which may complement the materials covered in Trade2Win.

Since the way options, warrants and futures trade in Australia is different to the US and European experience, the information contained may be very helpful for those wishing to trade major names such as BHP Billiton for instance. Personally having traded different markets, I have found the way US options are structured is very different to the Australian structure on ASX listed companies with ETOs.

I do post on ASF but am not connected with it in any way, other than finding it a valuable forum, as I hope Trade2Win will become for me too.

Regards

What areas of trading are you interested in? There are quite a number of forums out there that have relatively few posts but in a more specialized area than ET or T2W (which has become much faster lately - congratulations guys).

trade2win and traderslaboratory both best on a daily basis and once a month have a look round ET.
