most indicator use current bid to paint the line or signal.
Therefore, if the current bar is a huge entitle bar, line or signal will change a lot
which may make you give different view of buy or sell.

e.g. RSI go from 80 down to 40

but for non-repaint, one of the method is using the OPEN price to calculate.
Since open will NOT change whatever current bid go.
Thus, non-repaint indicator most likely is at least 1 bar delay.

As the above example, if you take OPEN to calculate RSI, is 80 and
NOT drop whatever of current bar
but sudden quick drop to 40 in the next bar
which is you happy with it?
