very useful site, i especially like the descriptions to how to apply the various indicators in use.

Rathcoole is not a fan of indicators munchiedude. He's one of those guys that likes to trade naked!

Indicators in the conventional sense are derived from price...therefore logically it makes much more sense to spend the majority of your time studying the price action. It is not true however to say that ALL indicators are useless...it really depends on what you want them to indicate...the best indicators will be personal to you...not off the shelf, one size fits all and meaningless generally.

Keep searching! The magic indicator is out there waiting to be discovered!

I like to trade naked myself, although given that my trading chair is made of leather this does result in sweaty cheeks and crack.
 
what i've noticed about forex is everybody pulls you in a hundered diffrent directions.Do this, don't do that, that will never work, there is no such thing as a good ea and so on and so forth.

Me personally check out everything for myself.I like indicators but there are a ton of them that is not worth the code used to program them.Still i think one should keep an open mind to everything.The other day i read a post where a bunch of self proclaimed guru's siad that day trading is impossible.

Are there any day traders on this forum?

I am, although I'd like to trade off daily charts when I grow up :).

I look at my performance monthly - ask me on Friday how I'm doing.
