Default Minor page width niggle

Hi all,

Whilst browsing this wonderful site, I sometimes get a little irritated as some threads are wider than others and I need to keep scrolling left-right. Whilst I know a laptop with a begger screen would help, it seems the wrong (and costly) solution.

Why do some threads appear wider?

Is their a setting on the board or in IE6 which will 'correct' this?

Thanks in advance for any help

Stephen

The reason for the varying width is solely based on the charts posted within that thread.

Although there are guidelines, some people's charts are rather massive, which means the whole page within the thread has to expand to fit it all in. It is annoying I know, but this is yet another example of where size matters!

Can't the clever programmers fix the charts to fit the page?
