Hi,

Has anyone any experience with various implementations of VNC to remote in and then trade with multiple DOMs and a spreader? I'm curious as to if it's "good enough" and whether the lag is terrible... Which particular version do you think is good? TIA.

Amado,

I've used all sorts of VNC packages, such as UltraVNC, OpenVNC, TightVNC, RealVNC. When interfacing with a Windows computer, I much prefer Remote Desktop which is integrated into the various versions of Windows.

The bottleneck with these remote control applications is always going to be your network pipe. If you have a pretty fat pipe and don't mind the occasional network hiccup, then I suppose it is doable, but I don't know if I would particularly recommend doing it. For example, you might accidentally press a wrong button due to a network spike. Just try it and see if it's a manageable solution for you.
