Graphic Card Compatibility with 4 monitors

I currently run a Dell XPS with a Nvdia geForce 6800 dual output card on one machine and have the same set up on another PC, therefore I have 4 monitors on 2 PC's. However I want to add another 2 Dell 20in screens but don't want to buy a quad card if I don't have to.

Can I use another Nvdia 6800 dual card and insert this card into a spare PCI slot?

I don't see any reason why this shouldn't work. I have 2 dual cards in my set up, 1 AGP & 1 PCI. There might be some useful info in this thread if you haven't already seen it http://www.trade2win.com/boards/showthread.php?t=20746
