Looks like, Wanadoo are going to start capping my broadband form May. I have had a good look around and Pipex offer unlimited 1mbps for £23.44 a month www.pipex.net

That seems like the best deal from one of the higher rated providers. Anyone using them or have any other recommendations?
 
been using them since July 02 BB - highly satisfied with them.

A bit confused here Bb, I was under the impression wanadoo's broadband has always been capped, unless you were on some recent offer or perhaps a pre-capping offer as I signed up with wanadoo about 9 months ago and mine was capped from the outset, I am on a 6GB plan. No idea how much of that I actually use, no way that I can see to monitor it.

They haven't enforced the capped service yet. I was on the old freeserve uncapped service but was persuaded to go for the 2gb capped service when they ensured me that there would be no capping for a few months. I had an email about a change of terms of use and it mentions that the service will be capped from May. I don't want to get cut off after using 2GB and there seem to be several broadband providers who provide a superior service for a lower price www.adslguide.org.uk/isps/compare.asp

They will probably provide a meter to check how much of my allowance I have used but as I can get unmetered for about the same price, I prefer to look elsewhere.
 
Been with PIPEX for 18 months, absolutely no problems, would definitely recommend them.

I agree with hampy. No problems at all with Pipex. I'd recommend them.
 
My migration from wanadoo to pipex went through today. Unfortunately, wanadoo cut me off before pipex had set up my account, so I had to phone them to get it sorted. It is the same 1mbp but seems twice as fast as wanadoo :)
 
Beware of Wanadoo

I'm having a total nightmare with Wanadoo - wouldn't touch them with a barge pole - they were OK when I lived in France but are terrible here in UK. I haven't had a (broadband) connection for 2 months now due to their inefficiency. :devilish:

Might have to give Pipex a shot...
 
I'm with Telewest Blueyonder. I'd be loathed to recommend them because of the price. That said, they've been very reliable. I have a non computer literate friend go through serval other companies, and they always seemed to be lacking somehow (esp in the speed department). Although I have a thuing against my provider, until I find someone who can provide better for the same, or the same for less, I'll have to stick where I am.

It's a bit like choosing who to vote for...
 
Try www.f2s.com ive been with these for 2 years they are exellent. I'm paying 14.99 month for a 2 meg download capped at 2GB then charge 1.50 per 1GB or 19.99 for 10GB

Yep, I'm with F2S. 1Meg (best I can get here) at 10GB £19.99pcm.
