TWS Clock 7seconds Ahead of PCs

My TWS clock is 7seconds ahead of my pc.How can I rectify this?

change your pc clock?




or just trade in the future.

check with TWS if it is possible to lock your computer clock to the TWS clock signal - you can do this with some institutional trading platforms - or get a third party clock to lock to - there is always going to be a few seconds difference to the 'correct time' , regardless of what you do - but if you trade via TWS - at least if you can get that to sync your computer clock - you will feel all is right in the world

Exit TWS before changing the time on your PC, otherwise you'll find that the time changes on TWS too.

You could also try AboutTime from

http://www.arachnoid.com/abouttime/index.html

I was using another product but someone convinced me that this one was more accurate than other time synchronizers. It certainly aligns just fine with IB's clock.

Nice link, Old Bob, thankyou.

I've actually been looking for a free, customisable, always-on-top clock that shows GMT/EST and minutes/seconds for some time - you've saved me a lot of looking, that does exactly what I want it to.

If you like h9k timer have a look at Symmtime as well. h9k has a very clean interface but (if it hasnt changed much recently) Symmtime has more eye candy.
