Internet Explorer help

I appear to have lost the bottom bar on my explorer pages.

You know the one, where it displays the web addresses of links that you hover your mouse over, so you know which site you are about to visit.

It also shows the "mailto" address when you hover over an email address link.

It also shows the "battery-charger" type display showing how much of a page has been loaded.
( green bars )

Try View >> Status Bar. Even better, switch to Firefox
