Program Error

Hi,

For some reason I keep getting "Program Error: unknown has generated errors and will be clsoed by windows. You will need to restart the program." regularly for most apps (I usually leave the machine on overnight) - If I reboot the machine and the apps work ok.

Any ideas ?

What OS are you running? Have you done any general maintenance etc?

Oatman,

Its windows 2000 (SP2) - no general maintence - i have norton disk running and no probs were detected

Suggest you go across to Pitstop and run a test. I had a quick search but unless you're getting error codes it's difficult to know where to start. Try a Google.

I've just noticed you're on SP2. Win2K are on SP4 :cheesy:
