Is Traderpedia a useful resource - do you like it and use it? What's good and what's bad about it? Should it stay or should it go? If we keep it, how could it be improved to make it a more useful resource?

The poll is private.
Your feedback please!
Thanks,
Tim.

You can't delete it! Not sure how to improve it. More examples are always a good thing, I guess.

Out of 200k members, there's just one vote and one reply! Well, I suppose that's a vote in itself of sorts. The obvious conclusion is that most of you are so disinterested in Traderpedia, that you don't much care about it one way or the other . . .

Normally what happens with these sorts of thing is that someone comes along who finds that tending and improving the traderpedia or whatever wiki it is, is just the kind of thing s/he wants to do in his spare time, for whatever reason, and their activity keeps it alive and attracts more people to use it.

Looks like no-one like that has turned up here. Yet.

unless you intend to overtake investopedia, etc, its going to be a little backwater dictionary.
if I want definitive info, I go to the biggest portal/source for basic info.
then I seek out other specialised sources to verify/clarify and for more detail.

It is quite useful.

I've just been reading a bit of info about tax, which is what i joined this forum for. I have £6m burning a hole in my £3 tesco jeans & i want to give as little as possible to House of Rothschild.
Seems they want to charge me 40% income tax. Seems like i need a swiss bank account!

Don't like the concept of 'open source' reference material written here to be honest (i.e. that anyone can change no matter how ill informed / inexperienced / misguided they are). But that's just me. Said that from day 1

What would be useful to me right now is an acronym dictionary. What is MAR? Never remember. All the technical analysis acronyms.

And of course T.L.A. - took me years to find out what that was: Three Letter Abbreviation

Adamus, you were obviously never in the Army - one of the first things you learn is that

"TLAs are Forbidden !!!!"

and who says RSM's don't have a sense of humour ?
