Was it the thread started by VVVV? He has been banned and the moderators probably don't have the time to send PM's to everyone who posts to threads that are deleted. I have had lots of posts deleted and not had a PM with an explanation. Often the reason for deletion is obvious, if you think about it.

tsun, suffered the same 'fate' myself. Couple of my posts from last night have gone the 'weird way'.

You have to ask yourself if the irritation (if any) in this is enough to counter-balance the positive aspects of participation in the site.

If it's not - I've always found cutting out life's irritations is a useful thing to do. Which is what I'm just about to do.

Sorry about that tsuntzu, but there is a new pest who has so far registered as VforVendetta, VforV and VVVV who seems to have a big problem with Socrates and keeps repeating the same ludicrous post. I've had to bin around 30 of his threads so far and I apologise if one of them contained your reply. As BigBusiness says if the initial post in a thread has to go then there is hardly any point in keeping the replies.

Bramble I have restored one of the posts you mention, minus a mildly unsavoury biting invitation. Yes I deleted it too hastily and will try and be more careful next time. Sorry.

How do you know it was a ludicrous post frugi? Do you know both sides? I haven't had a chance to read it myself so can't come to my own conclusions
