Both Pat and I are happy for a straight merge with no pruning of my content into his thread.

The aim is to make a single, active thread for intraday index futures trading.

aye, can be done. before doing it though, it will run in post date order which i guess might make past discussions in either thread very disjointed when they come together- ok with that?
