Misleading Thread Titles

Actually timsk, come to think of it, what are the rules about misleading thread titles?

I bet you had a tough time try to decide which career path to go down: trader or comedian?

AFAIK, titles can be what the OP wants. However, before you - or anyone else - gets too excited, the Mods can change them at their discretion. My suggestion to DT was in response to comments by other members that they found his title off-putting and, certainly, it has little or no relevance to the substance of the thread.

Actually I've tried stand up comedy (and my dad did used to do it) but I can't do "routines", alas... actually I probably could if I wanted to, but then it would be, you know, *work*...

Far easier to be a heckler, and I quite enjoy taking the mic for a few minutes on open mic nights

well look some b@stard just deleted my whole thread called "Howard Cohodas - w@nker" without reading it. It contained links to some very good threads and so they could have easily changed the title but kept the content, but alas joined-up-thinking is a step too far.

Dash, although I find you a constant source of amusement, the jokes are wearing a bit thin.

If you want to open a thread and post your links then fine. Just ensure it has a joined up thread title.
