FTSE Futures

Morning everyone,

Just out of interest to anyone that swing trades FTSE Futures on a daily basis. Do you use the 16:30 official LIFFE close or the 21:00 historic close.

Thx

KaKaMyPants started this thread Thanks for replying DoubleSix,

Any real preference for using the 21:00 over the 16:30? I use the 16:30 myself just because it can get a bit thin after that time.

Not really sure what you mean by 'official close'
Market is open until 9pm

If I am holding a position at 4:30, I will continue to hold until I get a 'close' signal

As you say the market can be thin but that can also allow some good moves 'after hours'

If I am not holding a position at 4:30 then I will 'scalp' a few moves if I think the volatility is there

In other words I aim to make my money work while the market is open
