Anyone know a free resource for short interest of UK stocks?

Anyone know of a free resource to find the short interest* of UK stocks?

I've found out about out dataexplorers.com but I really can't be paying for anything.

EOD data or even end of week short interest data would be good.

*FTTDK - This is the total number of shares of a security that have been sold short by customers and securities firms.

the closest you'll probably find is euroclear.com, click on 'stock loan data' under services. But only monthly data is free. The website makes a point of saying that 'stock loan data' is not the same as 'short interest', but as i say it's probably the nearest you'll find.
