EXCELLENT………. Blockbuster Inc. (NYSE:BBI) is currently trading at $1.02, moved up by 6.09% on 120K shares within a few minutes of trading. On August 28, 2009, Blockbuster Inc. announced it has sold Xtra-vision Limited, its 186 store entertainment retailer in Ireland, to Birchhall Investments Limited for U.S. proceeds of up to $45 million in cash, subject to certain adjustments. Blockbuster expects to use a majority of the proceeds from the sale for incremental liquidity. Financo Inc. served as financial advisor to Blockbuster for the transaction.
