Pot Stocks Questions. Thank You

My wife and I have had a large portfolio with a Trust Company for years. Also have a 401K account via employment. Recently I have been seeing and hearing a lot about Marijuana Stocks and how this could be the next BIG investment. I have brought this up with our adviser, but he was not too excited about it at this time.
Eventually, this product is going to be legal in all 50 States, I believe.
If you can…..
**Please give me your input of this investment if there are even any out there?
**Are there any upcoming IPO’s for Marijuana that you know of?
**Basically, as an inexperienced investor, leaving it all up to our adviser, I’m in the “dark” when it comes to the possibility of investing any POT Stocks! I’m not getting any real solid advise about this.
**Are there any legit. Stocks available for Pot Manufactures out there for me to be maybe interested in?

These "good news" stories don't always lead to price rises in a sector. Sometimes the price rise already took place before private shareholders can get in and sometimes the market just isn't so convinced of the profit potential that enough money is drawn in to push up prices. In any case, there are often companies that lose out as their sector booms, for reasons not always visible.

Difficult to know what's going to happen in each case but observations within the industry is often a great help.

Its attractive but almost always wrong to think of any case as a special case.
