strong ETF and currency hand in hand?

hello folks,

I wonder if the following is true and I`ll give an example

the Austrian economy and the Austrian share market are booming
other markets are staying more or less the same

will the Austrian currency most probably will get more expensive as well?

so if I buy an ETF on underlying Austrian shares in US$, will that price go up and
the rise will reflect the price rise in the underlying shares as well as the appreciation
of the Austrian currency in US$?

To start with, the Austrians don't have their own currency anymore. They're part of the euro. But to answer your question, yes you will benefit from the rising stock prices and the rising currency in a US ETF on the austrian market. This off course provided they're rising
