Has anyone heard of ETX Capital or know any further information on them? all that i can find on google is their own site. They are meant to be a spreadbetting company that deals in options.

Sam, go to "General Trading Chat", there is a thread in there for ETX.
 
Spread 2pt FTSE/DAX, 5pt Dow seems to make them one of the most expensive. Do they have some hidden USP?
 
Looks like ETX reduced their spreads but forgot to tell anyone about it. The bad news is that they're still wider than some of the competition.
 
They have one advantage with FX, they offer a lower min bet size of 50p,

compared with the majority of the other SB companies offering a min £1,

Spreads on FX are the same also.

Min 10p bet size on Gold rolling daily & future, again most of the other's are a min £1

If anyone from ETX is out there, how about 1pt spreads on FTSE, DAX and Eur/USD, 2pt Dow. It would also help bring you into line with the competition if orders could be set when a bet is opened, and stops could be placed closer.
 
(y) They've tightened their spreads again recently & also updated their iPhone app, which works a treat. Think they now have a £250 offer for new customers - not bad.
 
Sorry but that iphone app is a load of t**s. Have you seen the charts? Offensive.
