I would love to get in to spread betting, alas i feel a bit out of my depth. i have been looking around for a book that i can read while at work and in my spare time that will teach me all about spread betting.

im not after a book that will tell me how to switch a computer on or full of wise old man sayings.

i have played around with IGinxed and lost about £50, i found it fun but i prity much did not understand what i was doing.

i have seen somany get rich story's online, im not after "how to make money" storys, just explanations of what stops limits, different graphs, simple stratagys etc..

im not looking to spend much, about £30-50, dvd's would be cool (y)

many thanks
chris.

Definitely spend some time preparing for spreadbetting if you're serious. And if you're not serious, then forget it as you WILL lose money. When I started 4 years ago, I viewed it as an extension of the casino - what a fool - and I frittered £200 very quickly. With some reading and research about tech analysis, money management and psychological techniques, I have improved a lot.

I'd highly recommend Come Into My Trading Room by Dr Alexander Elder. He's a qualified psychologist and a veteran trader - reading his book will help enormously with trading.

Good luck.
