Hi,
This is my first post, & its really a cry for help!

I'm semi-retired from a sea going career & spread bet with IGIndex. I have no problems with their platform, or charts; except I'm not a programmer & cannot find the familiar indicators I like to use.

My request is this - is there anyone out there that can do the programming for IT-Finance (The company which provides IG with a charting package)? I'm happy to pay to have the service.

Many thanks

IG charts

you can use the realtime chart from the Tools button.

Thanks guys, but I don't think I made myself very clear -
I have traded for a number of years - ever since my company installed Sat com aboard - but have only used Metatrader for analysis.

I now use IG's Advanced 'through' charts, but I miss some of the indicators that were put together for me by Metatrader coders. I'm looking for a coder to do the same with IG's charts.

Dowager.

Take a look at ProRealTime : Real Time Technical Analysis Software It is free eod charting, but they (IG) both use the same charts. There is quite an extensive list of indicators both from Pro real time themselves and from users of the system. Most of these you can import into the deal through charts of IG. (Some may require a bit of adapting, some you can't import).

Thanks 'Options'
The site looks interesting.

I've always kept away from 'trading' forums, but already (With only one post) I'm learning.

Lol. No problems. I hear what you are saying. Your first view is right. Don't get too heavy into 'trading sites'.
They are addictive, time consuming and everyone has an opinion. Right or wrong.

You can, and will, waste years reading and trying out others opinions.

Easy to say only take what you want and need. Hard bit is doing it.

Walk your own path and only listen to yourself.

I hear you...I spent what seemed like a life time roaming the forums (The usual holy grail thing), finally settled on a very simple system that gives a good, not brilliant, return. Now I'm happy.
Take care

Importing Indies

Are you still there 'Options'?

Had a look at the Indies on that site, one I would like is The 'Dynamic Stochastic Zone'

Thats as far as I go technically...How do I import IT????

Haven't looked at that one yet, some don't transfer.

Open the code up and just highlight and copy. Then in the Ig paste the code into a 'new indicator' and it will be there.

That's just off the top of me head. If you have trouble pm me and I'll look at it properly.
