Why trade non CFD???

Why would anyone want to trade direct and not use a DMA CFD brokerage instead? I have been reading about CFDs but what i can find there are only benefits by trading CFD direct. Especially if you are from a country like Sweden where Shorting on the OMX is a bitch.
Please clear this up for me since im sure im missing something here?

I've researched it and i too can only find benefits.
0.10% commission on Igindex, which if you're trading £10 a point on the FTSE100, means the first point costs and the rest are freeeeee!
Low margin, the ability to trade not only low margin but Emini's!

What is Direct Market Access? I don't really understand it.
