LSE suspends trading - IG Index

Hi everyone,

I have been paper trading for some time, using IG index as my platform of choice.

Now this morning trading was apprently suspended on the London Stock Exchange. I noticed that several FTSE shares were marked as "market closed" BUT others were trading as normal (on IG index). What is going on. In a trading suspended situation, wouldn't all London shares be "market closed".

They may have other execution venues - Chi-X or Turquoise - which were unaffected by the LSE.

Methinks their weekend software release didn't go too well !!

IG's spot gold feed also froze this morning. My trade had hit my limit but was showing only a small gain. I 'phoned them and they agreed there was a problem. So, they closed my trade and said they'd add the rest if and when they confirmed my stop was hit...


Just rung me back and said they will credit my account with the remainder...
