Spreadbetting on Commodities

So, has anyone been taking advantage of the crazy commodoties prices lately?

There was an article in the CityAM about making money from the sharp rises in commodoties like oil and gold, and even agricultural products like wheat and rice.

I know WorldSpreads offers spreads on futures and options commodoties and agricultural goods, has anyone got experience with these?

Traded commodities on real platforms for years, however at their current levels I'm out as I think this is another bubble.

Commodities at the best of times takes real skill to trade.

On the SB platforms, watch out for that widening spread when your tying to get in and out..

Of course these are just my observations and opinion and should taken as such...

I've been trading gold with IG Index for a while now and making a profit. Spread never widens on the spot market - always 0.5.

It's not been uncommon to get a $20 move with gold although it's quietened down recently and I'm happy with $5...

I'm also trading wheat with Capital Spreads.
