Well since spreadbetting is based on stock futures ( Single), none of the small caps have enough liquidity for qualifying for the futures market. Hence you do not get any small caps for spread betting. Plus the spread would be so huge ( future exchange + spreadbetting firm combined), there is little chance for any profit unless you have a capital like $ 200K plus.
