Mexican Peso Futures (and other CME commodities)

Hello all,
I have been testing certain systems, which have yielded particularly good results (i.e. in terms of CAGR, MAR Ratio, Sharpe Ratio et al, while being backtested) on instruments traded on the CME, as well as across the Dow Index.

I would like to test the robustness of these results in the real world, but don't have the bankroll to test across the markets and was considering using Spreadbetting brokers.
My line of thinking was:
1. I can live with the wide spreads, since I will be entering trades with the medium to long term (i.e. 3-9 months) horizon in mind.
2. I can test systems with real money, staking as low as £1 per tick.

My questions are:
1. Am I correct to assume Spread-betting brokers are the right avenue to test these ideas?
2. Are there any spread-betting companies which offer CME traded instruments, and specifically the Mexican Peso Futures?
3. Are spread-betting companies just like the average forex bucket shop, albeit more tightly regulated?

Regards,
Kobeyashi
