Read this article early this morning! Staggering, feel like ringing him up and offering him some technical analysis advice. The man has obviously got more money than he knows what to do with, that is bourne out by the fact he has taken Kevin Keegan and Dennis Wise up there.
The man has deep pockets, I think the loss is only a paper loss, and he can wait for as long as it takes for the banking stocks to recover. ( Could be a long wait- though)

£300,000 per point? That's the equivalent of a position of 30 million shares?
It would be interesting to know if IG had hedged that bet in the market, or if not whether they would have hedged had the position gone in the client's favour.

It's my view he's under capitalised, used poor money management and set his stop too close.
