I don't think it is possible because you can't get into the complete list- You, either, get to a certain index, followed by accessing all the A's, all the B's, etc, or you can punch in the name of the share and get it that way. They tell you if they have it, or not.

Let's see if someone else has an idea.

Hi Split,

Thanks for the reply. I haven't used Fins for a while but in the past one could download a pdf with a list of all the stocks that were tradable on their platform. I remember spending most of one Sunday morning adding them manually to one of my explorations in Metastock :(

However, these days I use Amibroker and no longer have the old list. I need them in either of the formats mentioned above so that I can create a "Wish List" in AB automatically.

Kind Regards,

Chorlton

Found a list on their site, I haven't checked it's up to date, will edit this thread if it isn't (y)

Lightning,

Firstly, Many Thanks for getting this from their website. :)

However, I was looking (or should that be hoping) that somebody had the list in a .txt or .xls format so that I could import it into my charting software.

The alternative is if someone has a scanner which they would be willing and kind to use :whistling

All the best,

Chorlton

Don,

You are a born investigator. You know the ins and outs of how to do things more than anyone else I know.

If I had a fraction of the curiosity that you had, regarding internet information and how to do things, I would be much better off, I'm sure.

Regards

I doubt that Split, curiosity killing the cat and all that.

If I spent more time trading rather than wasting my time on cruising the net, I have a new up to date PC and it does far more on the net than my older ones, once thats out my system I'll carry on with the proper stuff (y)
