IG Index FX spreads

Hi

Sorry for the thread but my search brought back way to many hits.

Would someone be able to tell me the spreads on EUR/USD and Yen/USD for daily and quarterly bets? Also what is the leverage without a stop in place (i.e. for every £1 stake what needs to be on deposit to cover the bet)?

EUR/USD
Spot spread: 2 pips
Near and Far Quarter spread: 12 pips

USD/JPY
Spot spread: 3 pips
Near and Far Quarter spread: 12 pips

Deposit factor is 200 for all of the above, so you need £200 for a £1 stake. But you can reduce that by having your S/L closer. Also, the minimum stake for all of the above is £0.5.

" without a stop in place " - leaves you open to UNLIMITED LIABILITY....!!
(or until you blow your account - and the MORE your leveraged,the FASTER that will happen)

More like driving a car without brakes. It's ok if you're moving slowly and can plan how to stop with engine braking but if things move quickly, you can seriously be f.....

LONG - 19546 (to close) - (16.10)

51 x 200.00 = 10,200.00 (GBP)

(i should have got off at 19542, but i got distracted eating a jaffa cake)

Are you phoning-in those £200/pip trades or using their new on-line platform ? If the latter what are the
fill speeds and frequency of re-quotes like at that bet size ?

I wouldnt phone in a ticket for a FIVER if i couldnt see any charts -
