Hi,

I have been practising using bullbearings spread betting account over the last week.
On Thursday night I placed a limit order on KLR at 1152, with a stop at 1111.
On friday I was dissapointed to see that I have been stopped out at 1111, however, the price never actually reached 1152, so I cannot understand why the trade was executed in the first place.

I have attached a graph to show that the price never reached 1152 between close of play thursday and friday

Can anyone explain this?

have you been stopped in ? sell stop order for x units triggered therefore you are now short X units of KLR ?

I don't think so

This is the statement

26/10/07 08:16 BUY BET £10 per point on KLR (1152.3)
26/10/07 09:12 CLOSE BET £10 per point on KLR (1111.77)
£405 loss

Is this a Bid, Ask or mid chart.

I think what has happened is that the underlying offer has gone out to a level which has trigered your limit order and although it may not have traded there, spread betting companies will fill you as this is what would have happened if you left an order with a stock broker.

If this is not the case give them a call and see what they say.
