Charity Trading Account - Trades for 30/07/07

Please make suggestions for our Charity Trading Account (details here) for trades on 30/07/07.

Please abide by the following restrictions:

All trades must have an entry point
All trades must have an exit (target) point
All trades must be good for that day only (no rollovers to start with)
All trades must have a stop

No trades will be made in non-UK Equities or in Heating Oil or Natural Gas contracts.

The maximum stake will be £1 a point in indices, energy and metal commodities and Currency Markets. The maximum stake in all other contracts shall be £2.

Please suggest your stake along with your suggested instrument.

Please do not use this thread for anything other than trade suggestions. Irrelevant posts will be deleted without explanation.

entry - esu7 1479.75
stop +esu7 1542.00
target +esu7 1420.00 (can i change this later?)

im basing these prices off of the futures market. i dont know the difference in levels/price for spread betting.

S&P daily future (sept)
Short £1 at 1479.7
Stop at 1542.1
Target 1420.1

Can change stop or target later if necessary.

sure.

dont know if your order is filled, but as i type, esu7 daily high is 79.00 so the futures not filled, but i know sb pricing is skewed a bit

you should have been filled with a sb (?) esu7 just traded @ 79.75 a few times.

Going to have to alter the stop and target - the S&P future moves(!) and at £1 a point if we hit our stop that's over a £620 loss, which is a lot more than 1% risk, a heck of a lot more

Result -£48.00
