P/L Logging and Analysis

Guys,

Sorry for the naive question, but I am looking at a software to log Profits and Losses, and maybe do some basic analysis on it.

I have tried ProRealTime (the one that IG offers, I'm spreadbetting with them). But unfortunately i cannot load more than few months of activity.

So I'm looking for either:
- a way to laod more than one year of IG activity on PRT, or
- a software (possibly for Mac) that can load an IG export activity log

Any suggestion?

Thanks for the reply. But I was looking at something a bit more professional and much quicker, like the PRT software. Im simply struggling to find a way to download 2 years history of trading from IG and import it into the platform.

I don't think you can import trading data into PRT as you wish to.

A spreadsheet isn't necessarily less professional or slower it depends on your ability to use it and what you need it for etc

If there is software out there where you can import data like this then i'm interested to have a go too.

A possible solution might be one of the cheap online accounting systems which accept downloads or have an API interface. For example Quicken https://www.quicken.com/support/how-do-i-import-data-quicken

Many of these have 30 day trials so you can seen if you can achieve what you need before purchase
